Butterfly Consignments Contract

Butterfly Consignment  Boutique and Victoria’s Consignments accepts designer, couture and good name brand clothing, 3 years old or less.

Quality and appearance are important factors to the buyer: only current fashionable pieces in like new condition sell. Check your garments carefully for stains, holes, tears, missing buttons and hooks and fix what needs to be fixed. Clean and press garments before bringing them in. The better they look, the better they sell. No odors (moth balls, smoke)! Hang each garment on its own hanger. Boxes and bags of wrinkled/stored clothing will not be accepted.

The consignment period is 60 days from the day the article is priced and put on out on the sales floor. Items unsold at the end of the consignment period may be picked up by the consignor; otherwise they become store property and will be either donated to missions’ ministries and charities within the area or disposed of otherwise without further notice.

We set the selling price and selling location. We reserve the right to reduce any item during the 60 day consignment period. We reserve the right to donate any item found to be stained or otherwise unsaleworthy during the 60 day consignment period.

The consignor receives 40% of the selling price.  All sales are posted at the end of the month; please check your account after the first of the following month. Monies should be picked up within 365 days of credit. Failure to do so will result in monetary credit being voided.

Elect to spend your earned credit with us and we will add 10% as a thank you!

Monies may be picked up or spent at Butterfly Consignment Boutique or Victoria’s Consignments.

We are not liable for loss by theft, fire, water, computer failure or acts of nature. Everything is left at owner’s risk.
